I have been thinking about the best way to keep the Crew (paying subscribers) engaged in the process. Up to this point, I have mostly posted random thoughts — sometimes a little too intimate to share publicly.

As we get closer to the departure date and the project begins to take shape, I will try a different approach: sharing the highlights of the week. Some of it may be a little raw, deep in the weeds, but I hope it will give you a sense of what preparing for such a voyage actually involves.
