I disposed of my possessions.  
I kept a few things to remember.  
I packed others to survive.  
  
They are excited.  
They envy my freedom.  
They want to join me.  
  
I am not excited.  
I don’t feel free.  
I mourn.  
  
Loss of a home.  
Loss of security.  
Loss of my kids.  
  
I shrank my life.  
I squeezed it.  
I canned it.  
  
There is no boat.  
There is no plan.  
There is no dream.  
  
What if there is no wind to go?  
What if there is nothing to see?  
What if there is no one to share?  
  
Will I sink?
